The Rhode Island State Police is attempting to identify a male suspect involved in the theft of a vehicle and theft of a credit card from Rhode Island College, 600 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence, R.I.
On Monday, 11/30/2020, RI College Police reported the theft of 2012 Ford pick-up white, bearing RI State Plate 1629. Two (2) State of Rhode Island JP Morgan credit cards were also taken from a secured maintenance building.
On 12/21/2020, the stolen pick up truck was recovered in Attleboro, MA.
Further investigation revealed that the stolen credit cards were used fraudulently at numerous locations in the Providence, Rhode Island area along with locations Watertown, Massachusetts. Several photos are from security video at Target, 550 Arsenal St., in Watertown, MA.

CAPTURED:
On 2/28/21, the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force captured the suspect in this case. He was charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Larceny, and Credit Card Fraud. MACKENZIE was apprehended in Providence and currently being held without bail at the ACI.
