On November 29, 2019 the Smithfield Police received a complaint regarding a larceny from TJ Maxx. Upon speaking to the victim, she stated she left her purse in the fitting room, but never left the store. The purse was found in the fitting room by the female in these photos and turned over to a TJ Maxx employee. The victim said when she got the purse back she was missing approximately $600 in cash she had just withdrawn from the Bank RI ATM. The female is described as being in her early 30’s.
