The Providence Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect involved in a fraudulent use of a credit card that occurred at the Walgreens, 1 Pocasset Ave, Providence, RI.
On Tuesday, 11/21/17, a female victim had misplaced her credit card in the Providence area and it was fraudulently used 8 times at various locations for assorted merchandise totaling over $1200.00. The times of these purchases on this day occurred between the hours of 10 AM and 4 PM.
On Tuesday, 11/21/17, just after 5 PM, a male suspect entered the Walgreens and attempted to fraudulently purchase a candy bar and carton of cigarettes ($110.00). Walgreens declined the purchase since the card was canceled by the victim at this point.
