The Cranston Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect who committed an armed robbery at the Citizens Bank inside the Stop & Shop, 204 Garfield Ave., Cranston, RI.

On Monday, 02/08/2021, at approximately 10:54 AM, a dark skinned male suspect walked into the Stop and Shop and approached the Citizens Bank counter. The suspect presented a device to the teller which he stated was a bomb and requested all the money from the draw. The suspect left with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing business attire. He was seen fleeing the scene in a small dark colored vehicle possibly a Hyundai, or Nissan.

This suspect may be involved in a similar crime in the town of Coventry, RI.
