The Burrillville Police Department is attempting to identify and suspect and suspect vehicle involved in the armed robbery of the Rhode Island Credit Union, 60 North Main St., in the Pascoag section of Burrillville, R.I.
On Tuesday, 12/1/2020, at approximately 9:30 AM, an armed male walked into the R.I. Credit Union displaying a black handgun and demanded money. An undetermined amount of cash was taken. The suspect then fled from the bank on foot toward a wooded area.
The suspect was described as a white male, 6' to 6'05" in height, medium build, wearing a tan colored baseball hat with the brim protruding from a hood, a green sweatshirt, light colored baggie pants, blue latex gloves, and a blue cloth wrap-around face mask.
A possible suspect vehicle was observed leaving the area on Wallum Lake Rd., toward the Massachusetts / Connecticut state line. The vehicle was described as a newer model white Dodge Ram pick up truck, 1500 series crew-cab. The truck had black-polished aluminum rims and black plastic accents around the wheel wells. The truck-bed was equipped with a light bar/cage rear window protector. The vehicle may have been bearing MA Registration plates.
On December 1, 2020 at the approximate time of 0930 hours, a male, armed with a handgun, entered the RI Credit Union. He was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, tan pants, blue mask, and blue latex gloves. They male made off with an undisclosed amount on money, via the wooded area.
