The Rhode Island State Police (Lincoln Woods) is attempting to identify a male suspect who committed identity fraud along with opening numerous credit card accounts in several jurisdictions with the victim's personal identifying information.

In December 2019, the victim began receiving numerous statements from credit card companies regarding fraudulent accounts opened in his name. The victim discovered several different credit cards had fraudulently been opened and used at various businesses such as Target and Jared Jewelers in Warwick along with Kay's and Zales at Providence Place Mall. The suspect has accumulated several thousand dollars in fraudulent goods.

Video surveillance was obtained from one of the businesses. The suspect appears suspect appears to be a dark skinned male with dreadlocks and glasses.
