The Rhode Island State Police Gaming Unit is attempting to identify a male suspect involved in an incident involving counterfeit money at the Twin River Casino.
On Friday, 5/31/19, at approximately 5:30 PM, the pictured individual approached an 85 year old male inside the casino and defrauded the elderly male by switching a counterfeit $50 bill for a genuine $50 bill.
The elderly male reported this to casino staff.
When the suspect was approached by Twin River Casino security, he became uncooperative and fled on foot out of the casino and into the wooded area near Louisquisett Pike.
The suspect arrived at the casino alone at 5:18 PM on RIPTA bus #1626, Route 51 (Kennedy Plaza, Charles Street, Twin River Casino). The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, slim build, scruffy facial hair, possibly with a neck tattoo. and wearing a red Chicago Bulls baseball cap with a black visor.
The suspect also has a distinct tattoo on his neck and one on the back of his hand.

On 8/7/19, the Rhode Island State Police, with assistance from the Pawtucket Police Department, captured the suspect in this case. He is identified as:
PHILLIP DAILEY (36) with a last known address in Pawtucket, R.I.
