IDENTIFIED:

RICHARD MOTTRAM (48) is a convicted sex offender who has a duty to register under RI General Laws. He is currently registered with the Cranston P.D. He has a registered address of 501 Reservoir Ave. Apt. 5.

While conducting a sex offender address verification/compliance check for MOTTRAM at his residence, the Cranston P.D. learned that MOTTRAM was not staying there.

On 12/19/18, the Cranston P.D. obtained an arrest warrant on MOTTRAM for failure to notify of a sex offender change of address. Attempts to have MOTTRAM turn himself in have been unsuccessful. His whereabouts at this time are unknown.

On 5/16/19, the Cranston Police Department report that the suspect in this case has been captured.
