The Rhode Island State Police is attempting to identify a female suspect involved in making fraudulent withdrawals from a victim's account at two locations in R.I.
On November 19, 2018, a female victim was alerted to five thousand eight hundred dollars ($5,800) being withdrawn from the Citizen’s Bank Checking account. The victim contacted her bank on 11/21/18, which showed that a female party made a withdrawal in two increments of two thousand and nine hundred dollars ($2,900). The victim was shown copies of the withdrawal forms that had the correct account number, incorrect date, and forged the victim’s signature.
The first withdrawal was made on 11/19/18 at 2:02 PM, at Citizen’s Bank located inside Stop & Shop Grocery Store, 204 Garfield Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island. The second withdrawal was made on 11/19/18 at 2:24 PM, at Citizen’s Bank, located inside Stop & Shop Grocery Store, 850 Manton Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island.
IDENTIFIED >p>The Rhode Island State Police have identified the suspect in this case as: DESARAY SUMMERVILLE (33) from Attleboro, MA. She also has an extraditable warrant from Attleboro PD for larceny.
