The West Warwick Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect involved in the breaking & entering, along with fraudulent use of credit cards.

On Thursday, 9/29/2016, a daytime residential breaking and entering occurred at a single family home in West Warwick. Among items taken during that break were the victim's credit cards.

The stolen credit cards wereused a short time later to make fraudulent purchases throughout the state, to include locations in Warwick, Cranston and Pawtucket.

The male depicted in these store security photos was making purchases with one of the stolen cards on the same day as the break.

CAPTURED:

The West Warwick Police Department report the arrest of the suspect in this case. He was apprehended by the Cranston Police Department. He is identified as:

DONALD D. DAWSON (44) with previous addresses in Providence RI and nearby Massachusetts.

DAWSON has an extensive criminal record and is currently being held at the ACI.
