The Providence Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect involved into several dormitory rooms at Providence College.

On Friday, 11/11/2016, at approximately 9:30 AM, a male suspect was let into a dormitory building by residents. The suspect proceeded to break into several rooms stealing several thousand dollars in property.

The suspect left the area in an older Dodge Caravan bearing RI registration 544-891. The plate was last active in 2013 with the owner living in PA since that time. An example picture of the suspect vehicle is included in this submission and is NOT EXACT.

NOTE: This same vehicle and suspect are involved in similar B&E's at Johnson & Wales dormitory rooms currently being investigated by the Cranston Police Department.
