The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify 3 male suspects involved in an identity theft and credit card fraud that occurred at the Target, 371 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, RI.

On Friday, 2/24/2017 at approximately 3:05 PM, a male suspect purchased $4000 worth of gift cards from TARGET using the self-checkout register. The suspect used a credit card that was stolen from Barnes and Nobles earlier in the day to make these fraudulent purchases.

Suspect 1 is described as a Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, wearing a tan Polo hat and a blue jacket.

Suspect 2 was acting as a lookout for Suspect 1 near the registers.

Suspect 3 is also believed to be involved and was observed with the other two suspects.
