The Middletown Police Department is investigating an identity theft complaint where the suspect(s) opened up a credit cards with the victim's information.
On 3/24/2017, a victim who lives in Middletown reported having five fraudulent credit cards opened up in her name. One of the credit cards was opened by the suspect(s) at the BJ's Wholesale Club located at 901 Technology Center Dr., in Stoughton, MA.
The credit cards were fraudulently opened on 3/15/2017. Two fraudulent purchases were made that day at BJ's Wholesale Club. BJ's Wholesale Club. Security provided surveillance video of the two suspects leaving the store, both carrying merchandise fraudulently purchased using the victim's personal information.
UPDATE:
Middletown Police also learned that the female suspect also opened a fraudulent account at the Target in Stoughton on the same day.
